For compiling locales, run the compilemessages task of the manage.py utility.

To compile a message file
  1. On the main menu, choose Tools | Run manage.py task, or press org.jetbrains.plugins.ruby.rake.actions.RakeTasksPopupAction.
  2. In the Enter manage.py task name dialog box, select compilemessages, and press Enter.

    django.mo files are produced for each locale.
